Take one of the most famous forms of transportation, a dog sled. Wide range of boat rides is also perfect for those looking to take in the view and splendor of Juneau.
Many visitors to the Juneau area visit The Tongass National Forest. It is the largest national forest in the United States, covering 85 percent of Southeast Alaska.
Juneau provides easy entry to the Glacier Bay National Park, the Taku River, Tracy Arm Fjord Admiralty Island and Pack Creek Bear Preserve. The Juneau area is host to a wide-range of stunning and affordable wilderness resorts.
